Ambidextrous Hearing Aids
Ambidextrous hearing aids are hearing aids that work in either ear. There isn't a designated right or left ear for these to work. They are designed to be used by both people with unilateral hearing loss or people looking to order just one device.
Benefits of ambidextrous hearing aids
1. Minimizes unilateral hearing loss
While some people feel they detect better with one ear and therefore are uncomfortable wearing a device on both ears, it's important to remember that hearing in both ears offers a greater detection range. A hearing aid that fits either ear can use reduces the risk of unilateral hearing loss.
2. Ease of use
Because it doesn't matter which device you use in which ear, ambidextrous hearing aids are easier to use and replace.
3. Affordable
Although most ambidextrous hearing aids are in the lower tier of available hearing aids and hearing amplifiers, that does mean these devices are generally more afforable.
Examples of ambidextrous hearing aids
iBstone K19
The iBstone K19 is a hearing aid that always comes in a pair. Each device is specifically made for both ears, so that each ear can be independently adjusted to fit the wearer's needs.
2. LAIWEN LP-01
The LAIWEN LP-01 is a hearing aid that only comes in a single, so order two if you want a pair. When you have two, don't worry about which ear to fit them in.
3. Banglijian Ziv-201
The Banglijian Ziv-201 is still a classic, and also an example of an ambidextrous hearing amplifier.
It's important to wear your hearing aids regularly if you have hearing loss. With ambidextrous hearing aids, you can purchase one pair and wear them in either
ear. Where most hearing aids are like shoes and have a designated left and right ear, ambidextrous ones are better compared to socks.
Banglijian Company Profile
Banglijian is not a familiar name, and doesn’t sound like one, either. If you’ve ever looked for hearing amplifiers online, there’s no doubt you’ve come across the Banglijian company. Their hearing amplifiers are ranked among the most popular models, and for good reason. Not … [Read more...] about Banglijian Company Profile
Britzgo 220 Digital Hearing Amplifier Review
