In the last few years, Neosonic has grown from a small company with a decent hearing amplifier to one of the bigger names in hearing amplifiers. It changed its line-up of models to six different hearing amplifiers, each serving a different need. Although the hearing amplifiers differ a little, the quality of their devices is consistent and backed by a one-year warranty. I have previously reviewed all of Neosonic’s hearing amplifiers separately, but in this article will focus on the Neosonic company. We’ll go through some general company information, discuss the warranty policies, and I’ll briefly go through the different models that Neosonic offers.
Full disclosure: I have a partnership with Neosonic. As with other links on this website that go to a different website, links you click on this page might well be affiliate links. If you buy something from that website, I could receive a commission – at no cost to you.

Company Information
Neosonic is a truly entrepreneurial company. After the US market opened up for PSAPs (Personal Sound Amplification Products, a fancy name for over-the-counter hearing aids or hearing amplifiers, as they’re commonly called), Neosonic jumped in, and started delivering a great product for a good price. These early hearing amplifiers were quite some ways removed from prescription hearing aids, but Neosonic has worked hard to close this gap.
The higher-end models in the Neosonic catalogue now put up a fair fight against the prescription hearing aids that cost thousands of dollars, for a fraction of the price. They still have some products that are ‘first models’ and not quite as sophisticated as their top-shelf hearing devices.
Although Neosonic devices are engineered and manufactured in China, the company itself is based in the US and from there, offers three-day free shipping and a great customer service experience.
Neosonic Warranty
Each Neosonic product you buy comes with a 45-day money back guarantee. This lets you try out a hearing amplifier while guaranteeing an easy return. After these 45 days, you still have plenty of time left on the one-year manufacturer warranty that covers any manufacturing defects. Although losing your device does not count as a manufacturer defect, Neosonic nevertheless will give you a 10% discount on your next purchase.
Their customer service department is very helpful and quick to respond.
Buying Neosonic Accessories
Aside from selling hearing devices, the Neosonic company website also sells different accessories, such as ear domes, hearing sound tubes, batteries, and even hearing aid drying devices.
Product Information
Neosonic offers six different hearing amplifiers, that each differ enough to pick a favorite. Below, I will quickly summarize the most important differences between the product line-up.
Neosonic MX

The Neosonic MX is this company’s standard model. It comes as a pair (at $598) and offers two behind-the-ear hearing amplifiers with dual direction microphones. By using these two microphones, the device better mimics the natural way sounds reach your ear. This helps create a more natural sound and leads to better noise reduction. The sleek charging station ensures you never need to buy batteries again. Four hours of charging give you twenty hours of usage.

Neosonic MX-RIC

The Neosonic MX-RIC doesn’t just give you better sound quality through the Receiver-in-Canal configuration, it also looks pretty cool. On top of that, it’s one of the best waterproof hearing aids out there. Combine that with the usual Neosonic quality and other features (such as the trial and one-year warranty), and it’s not hard to see why the MX-RIC is one of the most popular hearing aids on this website.

Neosonic MX Smart

Another version of the Neosonic MX is the Smart edition. With this setup, you control your hearing aid through a smartphone app. This allows you to adjust the volume and listening mode, but it also helps you set up the device to fit your specific hearing needs. Aside from these fancy features, the Smart offers the usual extras you find in all these MX models: two microphones, a great sound quality, and a recharging base.

Neosonic B20
The Neosonic B20 is Neosonic’s latest model and the successor of the B10. Both these models provide a few-thrills approach. By cutting away the extra features, the Neosonic B20 gives you a great listening experience for a smaller price. The B20 also comes in a good-looking traveling case, which gives you plenty of charges on the go.

Neosonic B10

As the name suggests, the Neosonic B10 preceded the B20. Although the setup is the same (a robust rechargeable hearing aid without additional features), the BTE setup means the sound quality doesn’t quite rival the B20’s. This is reflected in the price, which has made the Neosonic B10 the very best budget hearing aid in 2022.

Neosonic NW10

The Neosonic NW10 is a completely different type of hearing amplifier than the ones above, and much less intended as an all-day, everyday device. That being said, it features as one of the coolest gadgets your grandkids have ever seen. With a remote microphone, you can place this small box anywhere, and pick up the sound in your own neckband. Perfect for church, watching TV, or in a conversation with someone farther away. Like the Neosonic QT, the NW10 is only available on Amazon.
