More and more hearing aids have smart features. These smart hearing aids sometimes offer different extras, like streaming options. This means you can play sound from your phone straight to your hearing aids.
Now, you don’t need to take out your hearing aids to put earbuds in or wear headphones. Simply play music on your phone and use your hearing aids to listen to music, the audio from videos on your phone, or take phone calls.

As more over the counter hearing aids have those advanced features, you may be wondering what the best hearing aid for music listening is. I’ve gathered five different models that (hopefully) help you make a better buying decision. Each model has a review on this website, which you can read, too.
As I like to do with other comparison articles, too, I’ve made a list of five different hearing aids. This helps you pick different ones, but that doesn’t mean the list covers every possible model of streaming hearing aids.
Curious to see the best over the counter hearing aid in 2023? I’ve got a comparison for that, too. For now, let’s dive into the best hearing aids for music listening.

Go Hearing Ultra: best value for money
The Go Hearing Ultra is the best model from this brand. Go Hearing offers over the counter hearing aids with a good value for money. Usually, it means you’re missing out on some features, but the Ultra combines all smart features with a price point under $500. Does that mean it rivals the best models? No. But it gives you a great value for money.

Jabra Enhance Plus: best overall

While most hearing aids for music are made by hearing aid companies that incorporate streaming, the Jabra Enhance Plus comes from a brand in the music industry that incorporates hearing aid features. For music lovers, that gives you the very best music listening experience, unless you don’t have an iPhone. Like some other models, the Jabra Plus doesn’t work with Android phones.

Olive SmartEar Plus: best hearing aid
The Olive SmartEar Plus is the follow-up from one of the first over the counter hearing aids with music streaming. And this model is more impressive. It’s soon to be succeeded by the Olive Max, but for now, the Olive SmartEar Plus is the best hearing aid that offers music streaming. It also works with Android and iPhone, so it’s a good alternative for people who can’t use the Jabra Enhance Plus.

Linner Nova: budget option
The Linner Nova is a true budget model. Like the Jabra and Olive, it doesn’t look like a classic hearing aid, but like a pair of earbuds. It offers all the same features of the models above, but for a sharper price. As you might suspect, that lower price comes with some compromises. There is nothing wrong with the Linner Nova, but it simply doesn’t offer the same quality as the other four models.

Fisdemo L: BTE budget option

The Fisdemo L is another budget option, at around the same price point as the Linner Nova. The biggest difference is that the Fisdemo does look like a traditional hearing aid, but one of the older models. Compared to newer versions, the L is a bit bulkier and bigger. That means it doesn’t look as modern (or hides away as well), but it gives you a good price.

Conclusion – What is the best hearing aid for music streaming?
The best hearing aid for music streaming partly depends on your personal preference. I’ve tried to give you a wide variety of options, but I’ve also had to leave out models like the BT Omni 2 or the Lucid Hearing Engage. With these five models, hopefully there’s a streaming hearing aid for everyone.
